MISS PATRICE
(Ballet)
Miss Patrice started her training at age 3 in Elizabeth, NJ and continued at Verne Fowler School of Dance at the age of 7 studying ballet, tap, and jazz. In high school, Patrice was involved in musical theatre and choreographed several musical and straight plays. Advance training included studying ballet and pointe with the legendary Margaret Craske at The New York Academy of Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet School, Broadway Dance Center, The Princeton Ballet School, and modern dance with Jane Gardner at Wagner College. Patrice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts Administration with a concentration in Theatre and Dance from Wagner College where she started teaching dance for Students Activities. Upon graduation she took a position with Columbia Artists Management, New York, working on the touring component of dance companies such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Lar Lubovitch, Alwin Nikolais, Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet, Joffrey II, and Twyla Tharp among others. Patrice was also the Booking Manager for The Eliot Feld Ballet until she "retired" to raise her three children, Andrew, Julienna, and Thomas. She has taught "Mommy n Me" classes and pre-kindergarten at a private nursery school. Patrice is a member of the professional organization Dance New Jersey. She is currently the co-creator and director of an annual full-length Nutcracker Ballet. Miss Patrice believes all children have unlimited potential!
