Alicia Giglio is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator and registered yoga teacher. She received her BA in Modern Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and her MA in Dance Education from New York University. She also holds her 200 hour yoga certification from Smart Asana Yoga. She currently dances with Solo Danza and has been a company member since 2012. She has performed with Freespace Dance Company, Insurgo Dance Project and in other freelance dance collaborations. She currently serves as a guest
choreographer in the dance department at Middlesex County College and a master guest teacher at Raritan Valley Community College. Since 2006 she has created, implemented and directed the dance department at New Brunswick High School’s Fine, Visual and Performing Arts Themed Institute. She has taught in a variety of summer programs including: The American School in Switzerland (TASIS), The Rutgers University Summer Dance Program and The Newark Museum Summer Program. She currently serves on the board for Dance New Jersey and has been a board member since 2010.
