MISS FOLA
(Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Acro)

Fola Walker, studied jazz, tap, ballet, musical theater, hip hop, and lyrical for 15 years at Artists in Motion, based in Princeton, NJ. While attending Rutgers University, she studied modern dance at Mason Gross School of the Arts and participated on the Rutgers Dance Team. Since then, she has danced for the Nike Pro City Hoop Girlz, become a teaching artist for Fresh Theatre Arts and Be.You. Dance Center in Highland Park. For the past 5 years, Fola has been a principal dancer for Introspective Movement Project. I.M.P. is a contemporary jazz company that participates in freelance opportunities throughout the Philadelphia and Brooklyn areas, while also holding its own annual That Which Connects Camden dance festival and intensive. While dancing has always been at the forefront of Fola’s career, Theater is also near to her heart. She was formally trained in theater arts at San Francisco’s American Conservatory for Theatre. Choreographer credits include ...Spelling Bee, American Idiot!, Once Upon a Mattress, ...Charlie Brown, and Mary Poppins. Fola is currently stage managing for National Dance Showcase for her 6th season.
