 Alessandra Valea (Vaganek) ('09) is currently dancing around Europe in the International Tour of Broadway's classic, West Side Story, as a Shark Girl and Anita's alternate! The production, which uses the original Jerome Robbins choreography, is directed and choreographed by Joey McNeely. She comes home to us in May. Safe travels!

I've seen her as Shark Girl and I have to commend her performance. She was awesome. Her approach was unique and left an imprint on the audience that night. MDC should really be proud of Alessandra's achievements. She made the correct decision to hone her dancing skills at your institution.
